Not far from brilliant with subtle shades of golden patina that appear to drift toward the borders. Both sides are blanketed in a uniform satiny texture with pleasing overall definition. Smooth beneath a glass and undoubtedly close to a Superb designation. The 1934 Peace dollar boasts the smallest mintage of any issue from the 1930s.
