1814 Classic Head Cent. S-294. Rarity-1. Crosslet 4. MS-62 BN (NGC). A well struck example of this popular variety, the most available year of the 1808-1814 Classic Head style. Medium brown surfaces are characteristic for the 1814, (many pieces range into gray or black). Lustrous mint frost is evident on both sides with only minor planchet porosity visible in the reverse field. A piece that has been carefully preserved over the years. PCGS# 36520. NGC ID: 224Y.
