- 1857 Liberty Seated Dime. MS-64 (NGC). CAC. OH. Soft, satiny texture with charming golden-rose peripheral toning on both the obverse and the reverse. The strike is uncommonly sharp for an 1850s Seated dime, and smooth looking surfaces would probably have secured an even higher grade were the luster just a bit more vibrant. An excellent choice to represent the type in a Choice to Gem quality set.
