1802/1 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-231, B-1. Rarity-4. Narrow Date. Fine-15 (PCGS). Pleasing rose-orange and vivid blue enliven a base of warmer dove gray. The strike is nicely centered and all the devices are boldly outlined. Some sharper detail remains in a few of the more protected areas of the design. The surfaces are overall smooth and superior to those seen on many other well-circulated Draped Bust dollars. As attractive a Fine as one is likely to encounter for the type. BB Die State II.
