Lot Description

A classic old time collection look graces this challenging Barber half dollar date. Fewer than a million were struck and most went into circulation; even AU coins are rare. A hint of rub on the high points is noted, as are some contact marks on the obverse. Some of these marks are visible to the naked eye but were acquired during its time in circulation. The surfaces are warmly toned in slate gray and pale gold and the eye appeal is decent. PCGS 12, NGC 2. The other one sold back in June 2014 for $2,703.
