Lot Description
FROM THE PERTH RB 2C COLLECTION This coin is much closer to PR67 RB then 66RB! Bold mirrors beam intensely all over. The mirrors are super clean and have amazing clarity. There in one tine die chip hidden in the shield that we thin could be what keeps this coin from PR67RB (its so tiny). A splashes of totally original brick-red patina overlays reflective copper-orange fields and recesses on the obverse, while peach-gold and ruby-red shades occupy the reverse. The strike is impressively sharp, and the details do have light frost. The eye appeal is intense! This is a PROOF ONLY mintage of 600. PCGS 33, NGC 44, CAC 19. PCGS has graded only 2 in PR66+ RB with 1 finer. This coin last sold in 2017 for $11,750.00. The current Collectors Universe Value is $12,000.00. We think that is too low. This is a really rare coin in such a marvelous state of preservation. Opportunity knocks oud here as Legend Numismatics would say! Cert. Number 84275217 PCGS # 3652.00
