Cameo GEM examples of this date are not often seen at auction or on the bourse floor. Indeed, no PCGS PR65 CAM has sold in auction since 2010. Highly reflective, watery mirrored fields boast an intense flash that beams back when viewed in a light. A delicate dusting of silvery-white and clear gold patina can be seen on both sides. Every detail is fully struck up and frosty, providing a bold contrast against the bold mirrors. This coin has a wonderful eye appeal that is unmarred by any lines, marks, or unsightly toning that often plagues this type. PCGS 10, NGC 28. The last example sold in February 2010 for $10,925 and prior to that, the most recent sold in September 2007. The current PCGS value is listed at $7,500. RARE any finer!
