- Lot Description
- 1802 Draped Bust Dime. JR-4. Rarity-4. VG-10 (PCGS). This is a boldly patinated example, both sides awash in a blend of charcoal-gray and steel-gray toning. A well-balanced coin for the grade with generally even wear and nearly all devices fully outlined. JR-4 is the most frequently encountered die marriage of this issue, although the date as a whole is among the scarcer ones in the Draped Bust, Large Eagle Dime series of 1798-1807.
