Lot Description

Jackson County Collection. Logan-McCloskey 4-D, large date, second head style. A tall "1" and block "8" in the date designate the obverse die while on the reverse, "D" rests completely beneath the stem end above. The appearance could scarcely be nicer for a lightly circulated example that shows exceptionally clean surfaces, prominent luster and boldly segmented stars all the way around.
