Lot Description

1800 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-14, BB-194. Rarity-3. BB Die State II. Dotted Date. VF-35 (PCGS). CAC. Steel-gray with deeper gray accents around the devices on the obverse and reverse. The strike is reasonably sharp, with the "dots" within the date and elsewhere caused by small pits which formed in the obverse die as more coins were struck. Good hair separation on Liberty's upper curls and the surfaces are nicer than average. PCGS# 6889. Provenance: From the Carl and Josephine Legacy Collection.
