- 1787 Massachusetts Cent. Ryder 3-G, W-6090. Rarity-3-. Arrows in Left Talon. VF-30 (PCGS). 148.4 grains. Lovely olive-copper patina blankets smooth, hard surfaces. The strike is a bit off center with bold denticulation along the right borders, the left borders devoid of this feature. With all major design elements bold to sharp and some nice gloss, it is difficult for us to imagine a more desirable mid grade Massachusetts cent of either date or any variety.
