1807 Draped Bust Cent. S-271. Rarity-1. Comet Variety. EF-40 (PCGS). Marbled rose-gray and golden-copper patina greets the viewer from both sides of this handsome large cent. Pleasingly glossy in texture, the surfaces are smooth in hand with universally bold EF definition. An attractive example of the popular Comet variety of the 1807 Draped Bust cent, so-named because of the conspicuous obverse die break behind Liberty's head. Noyes Die State B. PCGS# 1531.
