Ireland. Dublin. 1795 Irish Halfpenny / Liberty and Security. Baker-31M, Breen-1266, D&H Dublin-9. Copper. Lettered edge, PAYABLE AT LONDON LIVERPOOL OR BRISTOL. VF-25 (PCGS). 28.9 mm. Fairly smooth deep steel brown surfaces. Slight weakness at the centers and toward 12 o’clock on the obverse. Struck from the same reverse die used on the Liberty and Security halfpence and often collected in association. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
