Lot Description: A sensational, boldly reflective Prooflike CHOICE Mint State 1802 dime. Tied for FINEST KNOWN, this coin is off the charts amazing in every way. While the JR-4 die marriage, rated as Rarity-4, is the most available overall for the year, at this lofty state of preservation, it is EXCESSIVELY RARE. Brilliantly lustrous surfaces have a bold, flashy reflection in the fields. There are some minor adjustment marks on the obverse, which resulted in some softness at the reverse center; all the other devices are boldly struck and thickly frosted. A blush of soft iridescent patina can be seen at various angles. A few tiny marks and lines explain the assigned grade, but they have little overall impact on the quality or eye appeal. Ex.
