1760 Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny. W-13960, Nelson-13, Zelinka 14-M. URS-12. P Below Bust. VF-25 (PCGS). A sandy-copper example with generally even toning to both sides. Bolder charcoal highlights are confined to the protected areas around a few devices. There is a bit of light pitting in the planchet, but no sizeable or otherwise individually distracting blemishes. Suitably bold in detail for a mid-grade survivor of the type, even despite the presence of two pronounced vertical die breaks (as made) over the right reverse that helped us peg the Nelson-13 die marriage.
