Losbeschreibung: 1883 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). CAC. Extraordinary toning in iridescent olive-russet, pink, blue and gold shades greets the viewer from the obverse of this highly reflective specimen. The reverse, equally original in preservation, shows blue and sandy-mauve peripheral colors around a silver-tinged center. Given that the circulation strike 1883 half dollar is a low mintage affair, this upper end Gem Proof offers an attractive high grade alternative for the discerning collector of Liberty Seated coinage.
