1937 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-67+ (PCGS). CAC. Dusted with pale silvery patina, isolated peripheral areas on the obverse also display warmer olive-russet iridescence. Sharply struck throughout, as befits a Proof, with a mirrored finish shining forth nicely under a light. The second issue in the Proof Walking Liberty half dollar series, the 1937 is the second scarcest after the first year 1936. This is a handsome Superb Gem from a mintage of 5,728 coins.
