- Description du lot
- 1862 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). CAC. Secure Holder. Evenly toned in iridescent lavender-pink iridescence, the reverse of this coin contrasts with an obverse ringed in bolder, yet mottled cobalt-blue and steel-lavender colors. Both sides are equally sharp in strike, their surfaces also free of all but a few inconsequential hairlines. Given the rarity of this Civil War-era Seated Dollar issue in all Mint State grades, the proof 1862 enjoys heightened demand among both advanced type and date collectors.
