1854 N-11 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown.Lustrous bluish steel and olive with 10% of the planchet showing faded mint color. Satiny and quite attractive with just a few trivial marks. The notable marks are a tiny nick on the nose even with the bottom of the eye, a speck of carbon on the neck, another just right of the nostril, and one more hidden in the dentils right of star 11. M-LDS, die state c, with flowlined fields and fine flowlines connecting the 1 & 4 to the dentils below. Our grade is MS60+, tied for CC#20 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 6 finer: 1 in 64+, 2 in 65, 3 in 66. Estimated Value $400 - UP
