- Description du lot
- Blushes of olive iridescence are more prevalent on the obverse of this otherwise brilliant, satin-white example. Lustrous and smooth throughout with most major design elements fully rendered and crisp. A heavily circulated issue, the 1863-S half dollar is scarce to rare in all Mint State grades. This premium MS-63 numbers among the finest certified survivors from a mintage of 916,000 pieces, and is eagerly awaiting inclusion in an advanced collection of Liberty Seated coinage.
