THE XANNO COLLECTION A very high grade 1875 cent, tied for second FINEST graded at PCGS with just a single example finer in the RB classification! This is a glorious example that is essentially FULL RED, with just some delicate dusting of iridescent "mellowing" on the reverse. A visually captivating luster radiates all over the smooth surfaces. A glass will find a few very minor flecks, none of which have any impact on the strong visual quality of this PQ GEM. PCGS 7, NGC 19, CAC 5. Just a single example is finer in the designation. The last PCGS MS66 RB CAC sold nearly six years ago in the 2017 FUN auction for $1,528. Today, the PCGS Price Guide value is $2,000 and the CAC CPG value is $2,110.
