The final half cent issue saw only 35,180 struck from a single pair of dies. This is a lovely GEM example of the C-1 die pair. Sharply struck devices stand out boldly. The lovely brown patina yields to golden orange and tinges of original RED color. The eye appeal is exceptional and this is rare any finer. PCGS 12, NGC 11, CAC 13. The last PCGS/CAC coin sold over four years ago! Just three are finer in the category all MS65+ BN. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,000 and we think this GEM could hit that or more. Worthy of a lovely half cent cabinet! Cert. Number 43788621 PCGS # 1239
