1892 Liberty Half Eagle. Proof-61 Cameo (PCGS). Sharp frosty motifs complement glittering mirror fields. Almost fully brilliant with hints of rose on both sides. A small abrasion above the eagle's head is the only flaw worthy of note. A mere 92 proof half eagles were issued during the year, of which a scant 17 have been certified by PCGS, perhaps signifying that some examples originally distributed may have been spent into circulation and then reclaimed into bullion.
