1783 Nova Constellatio Copper. CONSTELATIO. Crosby 3-C, W-1875. Blunt Rays. AU-55 (PCGS). Choice glossy light to medium brown with flawless hard surfaces. A beautiful example with just the lightest evidence of wear. No significant marks or flaws, short nick under 3 of date, perfect rims. Light die crack visible from rim to R of LIBERTAS. While this is a fairly common variety, any example as nice as this is worth competing over. An iconic early American issue.
