1843 Braided Hair Cent. N-5. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State C. Mature Head, Large Letters. MS-62 BN (PCGS). Bold crimson-red highlights enliven otherwise medium-brown patina on both sides of this appealing BU. Sharply struck in a large cent of this type, with only a few wispy abrasions to Liberty's cheek and isolated portions of the rim, none of which are worthy of individual attention.
