From the High Octane Collection. A great looking original CHOICE doubled die two cent. Hard bronze surfaces are generally very clean, save for a few minor ticks, but none detract from the overall eye appeal. The doubling is bold and visible to the naked eye. A great strike and pleasing color add to the visual allure! PCGS 8, NGC 2, CAC 3. Our auction data base shows seven examples in PCGS MS63 (none are CAC) selling in auction since 2004--the most recent selling for $3,525 in the 2017 FUN auction.
