Description du lot
THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV FULLY PROOFLIKE! WOW! This stunning, border-line SUPERB grade GEM has the look of a freshly struck example from newly polished dies. The devices are sharply struck up and have crisp, frosty devices that stand out like a CAMEO PROOF. Only 5,200 examples were struck for circulation, as most silver was dedicated to silver dollar production under the terms of the Bland-Allison Act of 1878. Clearly this beautiful GEM was carefully and lovingly cared for since it came off the dies. WOW! PCGS 5, NGC 1, CAC 2. This magnificent GEM last sold in July 2016, realizing $10,575. Today, both the CAC CPG and PCGS Price Guide values are listed at $9,000, but we think this coin will sell for more. Only seven are graded higher. Bound for a world class Seated Liberty half dollar set. We know bidding will be as intense as the brilliance! Cert. Number 18418073 PCGS # 6367
