- 1789 Mott Token. Breen-1020. Thick Planchet. Plain Edge. AU-50 (PCGS). PCGS has mounted this coin with the reverse up in the holder, per the orientation pictured in the 2011 edition of the <em>Guide Book</em>. A lightly worn, reddish-copper example struck from a very late state of the dies. The often-seen reverse die break (as made) at the upper-left corner of the clock is present, as is considerable evidence of die rust (also as struck) around the peripheries on both sides. There are no post-production distractions.
