Popular three-year type with arrows at the date. Vibrant russet and blue toning is quite attractive. There is a small horizontal scratch on the reverse within the upper end of the wreath; the obverse is largely mark free. In 1853 the Mint reduced the weight, which was marked by placing arrows at the date. PCGS 12, NGC 13, CAC 3. PCGS price guide lists value as $1,150. Last sold at auction for $1,116.25 in August 2012.
