1896 Indian Cent. MS-66 RB (PCGS). CAC. Far more Red than Brown, this thoroughly PQ example is worthy of a strong premium. Vivid deep orange mint color blends with smooth, satin to softly frosted luster. There is little in the way of even light, iridescent toning, as above, and the strike is impressively bold throughout. Not a rare issue in an absolute sense, but a condition rarity at the outstanding level of preservation offered here. PCGS Population: 5; with a single MS-66+ RB finer in this category.
