1879 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102. Type II Reverse. EF-40 (PCGS). CAC. One of the rarities of the series with a tiny mintage of 4,800 pieces for circulation, as there was a glut of such pieces in commerce and no others were needed. Clean surfaces with pleasing silver-gray toning with golden traces. Smooth wear and attractive in every regard. Pointed berry above H(ALF) defines the Type II reverse hub used to produce these.
