1914 Indian Half Eagle. MS-65 (NGC). Although this may be considered a plentiful date in lower grades, at the Gem level these are indeed rare. In fact, the entire series of Indian half eagles is rare at this grade level as so few coins came down to us today with high quality surfaces. Notice the full strike and minimal signs of handling when closely examining this particular Gem. The luster is radiant and the eye appeal is strong throughout. An exceptional example of this date and one that belongs in an advanced Gem collection of this series.
