1796 Draped Bust Cent. S-114. Rarity-5. Reverse of 1797. VG-8 (PCGS). A pleasing example for the grade, especially so considering the scarcity of the die variety, and 1796 Draped Bust cents in general, in problem-free condition with good surface quality and color. This piece has medium-brown surfaces without any notable roughness and just a few short scratches left of the hair curls and trivial marks elsewhere. Good fullness of detail for the grade with a bold date, fully outlined motifs, and nearly complete legends. Provenance: Collector envelopes with attribution and provenance notations included.
