Gorgeous frosty surfaces are further enhanced with iridescent toning in champagne-gold and powder blue. Both sides also possess razor sharp strike detail, and they are expectably close to pristine for the remarkable Ultra Gem Mint State grade returned by NGC. The 1937-D may be a plentiful Buffalo nickel in an absolute sense, but with the quality and eye appeal offered here it is a stunning condition rarity fit for inclusion in the finest collection.
