Lot Description

1787 Fugio Copper. Club Rays. Newman 3-D, W-6680. Rarity-3. Rounded Ends. Fine-15 (PCGS). Appealing medium brown with good gloss and light brown devices on the obverse, reverse more golden in tone. A planchet flaw is noted at the base of the sundial, vertical lamination and toning stripe on reverse, some faint old abrasions at base of that side. A handsome example of the Club Rays type at this grade range.
