1857/1857 Flying Eagle Cent. Snow-11, FS-301 (FS-001.5). Repunched Date. MS-64 (NGC). A very wide RPD, a loupe reveals repunching south on all four digits in the date. Tied for finest certified at the major grading services, this near-Gem is bright and lustrous with a beautiful satin sheen. An otherwise sharp strike wanes only minimally near the upper-obverse and lower-reverse borders.
