Lot Description

Perhaps the most readily obtainable of all Draped Bust cents, the 1807 S-276 is an ideal candidate for inclusion in a type set. Interestingly, the reverse is found rotated to various positions in all die states; on the present example it is rotated a few degrees counterclockwise from medallic alignment. Olive and copper-brown surfaces are free of significant blemishes and show some good gloss.
