1909-O is a deceptively elusive entry within the Barber quarter series in the better circulated grade levels. Phenomenally original, the present example has become completely draped with dusty apricot-grey. There are no impact marks to be found, but a couple of ancient hairlines cross over Liberty's cheek and have become well camouflaged by the patina.
