These early Franklin half dollar Proofs are very difficult to find in SUPERB grade with CAMEO contrast. This 1951 has a bold and sensational contrast between the deeply mirrored fields and the frosted devices. The surfaces are delightfully clean and untoned with a pleasing black and white silver contrast. PCGS 31, NGC 42. PCGS has graded just a single PR67+ CAM finer.
