BB Die State III. A pleasant mid grade early dollar, boldly defined for the grade with attractively original toning in blended steel and pewter gray. Accuracy compels us to mention a curious concentration of scratches in the date area that suggest tooling, but these are easily overlooked during in hand viewing, under which observation this coin presents as impressively smooth overall.
