1849 Liberty Head Eagle. Breen-6887. Repunched Date. AU-53 (PCGS). CAC. An earlier die state example of this intriguing variety, repunching is evident at the digits 1, 8 and 9 in the date. Conditionally scarce for the issue, this About Uncirculated example exhibits handsome honey-orange color that brightens considerably under a light.
