THE XANNO COLLECTION While nearly 49 million cents fell from the dies in 1889, this date is NON EXISTANT in SUPERB GEM grade; neither PCGS nor NGC have graded anything finer than the currently offered MS66+ RD. This is the SOLE FINEST graded by NGC! Fantastic mint luster radiates boldly from the nearly flawless surfaces. Satiny brilliance accents the sharply struck devices. A strong glass will find a few tiny planchet flakes as made and a tiny toning fleck or two, mostly invisible to the naked eye, Th eye appeal is very nice. PCGS 2, NGC 1. This coin sold for $6,900 in March 2022 and neither PCGS coin has ever sold in auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $15,000.
