1875 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). This handsome and originally toned example exhibits subtle powder blue rim highlights to otherwise golden-apricot surfaces. Both sides are sharply struck, appreciably reflective, and uncommonly smooth for a type that is typically offered no finer than Proof-64. Scarce and inviting Gem quality from a mintage of 700 Proofs.
