1888-S Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-63 (NGC). Vivid rose-orange luster blankets uncommonly smooth surfaces in an 1888-S double eagle. Although readily obtainable in lower grades, the 1888-S is scarce in MS-63, as here, and rare any finer. A pretty coin that is sure to catch the eye of astute double eagle enthusiasts. PCGS# 9009.
