Razor sharp in strike, the devices are frosted and stand out with a bold contrast against the highly reflective mirrored fields. The mirrors have just a touch of iridescent white silver patina with a touch of clear gold. Only 470 Proofs were struck during this important Civil War year. PCGS 13, NGC 8. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500 and the most recent APR was just way too cheap, these were consistently selling for $2,000+ just a few years ago. Cert.
