- 1789 Mott Token. Breen-1021. Thin Planchet, Plain Edge. AU-55 (PCGS). Tan-brown patina to the obverse, the reverse exhibits some deeper copper-brown toning intermingled in several areas. Less-than-perfect centering on the reverse is noted, the lettering along the lower border being off the flan. All other major devices are discernible, if not bold, and there are no post-production detractions of note. Accuracy compels us to mention several shallow planchet flaws (as struck) on the obverse through the center of the clock and at the left border.
