Undated (Circa 1828) American Plantations Token, or 1/24 Part Real. Restrike. Newman 5-D, W-1160. AU-50 Environmental Damage. 123.15 grains. Steel-gray with bright silver highlights throughout, and with deep golden iridescence at the rims. Surfaces naturally rough as virtually always seen, some small areas of tin pest noted. Obverse die crack signifies one of the circa 1828 restrikes by Matthew Young. Pleasing to the eye in spite of minor surface disturbances. PCGS# 49. Provenance: From our (Stack's) May Sale of 2006, lot 1503. Lot tag included.
