<strong>Obv:</strong> A bust of Washington faces right with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above and the date 1866 below. <strong>Rev:</strong> The denomination 5 CENTS is surrounded by a laurel wreath with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST above. Fully struck and nicely cameoed in finish with an overlay of faint champagne-gold iridescence that barely denies full brilliance. One of several U.S. Mint pattern types that feature the portrait of the Father of Our Country, and highly desirable with a wide range of collectors, as such.
