Lot Description

120.6 grains. This type is a popular British Conder token - Middlesex, D&H-307a - that has been adopted by U.S. collectors owing to the Benjamin Franklin connection. The present example from the August Collection retains considerable faded orange mint color to otherwise warmly toned, olive-brown surfaces. It is a handsome Mint State representative of the type.
