1899 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-67 Cameo (NGC). An impressively beautiful cameo proof of the date with heavily frosted design elements and deeply mirrored fields, the end result a cameo contrast of exceptional quality. Full mint brilliance is the order of the day, though we note a trace of faint champagne in the dentils. From a proof mintage for the date of 846 pieces. The proof Morgan dollars of the late 1890s era are known for their outstanding cameo-like appearance, and the present coin is no exception to that rule.
